“Academy in session”

“The Academy for Education and Learning ignites a passion for teaching in Morris County School of Technology high school students through field exposure and preschool instruction.”

The Learning Center at Morris County School of Technology (MCST) in Denville is a hub for enrichment at many levels.  It’s one of few places where preschoolers and high school students collide in a single educational environment that triggers development for both age groups.

The role students take on in this classroom is, in a way, determined by the door they enter through.  At 8:30 a.m. 3- to 5-year-olds are dropped off by their parents through the exterior door of the Learning Center.  They hang their jackets in little wooden cubbies and take a seat to learn their ABCs.  As the morning session is about to begin, another set of students enters for class, this time through a doorway of a separate classroom that connects to the high school.”
