Memorial High School FEA Back Pack Program

Memorial High School’s Future Educators of America chapter is, once again, proud to sponsor the “Back to School Back Pack Program” for this coming school year.  In an initiative to reinforce the importance of education and to give back to the community, high school students will collect school supplies and backpacks for elementary school children this fall.  Young students at Public School #2 will be the recipients of the backpacks and will begin the school year with all the supplies needed for a great academic year!

To help make this initiative a success and a model for other FEA chapters, Memorial High Schools is asking friends, families, and community members for help.   The chapter is asking for the donation of funds, school backpacks, and/or school supplies such as crayons, colored pencils, washable markers, scissors, rulers, glue sticks, small pencil boxes, composition notebooks, folders, erasers, pencils (primary pencils for Kindergarten), and journals.

We are hoping that community service will not only encourage students to reach out to the community, but will also allow our students to acknowledge the importance of higher learning in local schools.  The FEA advisors and Administrators at Memorial High School appreciate donations made for this great cause.  Donations and supplies will be collected by students and teachers.  Checks can be made out to MHS FEA Club; our nonprofit tax information can be made available.  If you are interested in making a monetary donation, sharing this letter with your human resources department, donating supplies, or in sharing suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Any help that friends and families can give us with this program would be well appreciated. Please circulate this information to others who may be interested in helping.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
