TEACH GrantsThe Federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH Grant) is for students interested in becoming teachers upon graduation. Students who receive a TEACH grant must agree to fulfill a full-time teaching obligation.

Loan Cancellation and Deferment Options for Teachers:   If you are a teacher serving in a low-income or subject-matter shortage area, it might be possible for you to cancel or defer your student loans.

Phi Delta Kappa Prospective Educator Awards and Scholarships:  Through the PDK Educational Foundation, PDK offers a variety of scholarships and awards to its members and those who have a connection to PDK through Future Educators Association® chapters.  This is one way in which PDK fulfills its tenet of service, while recognizing the leadership—another of PDK’s tenets—of its members.
