2012 FEA International Conference Highlights

David Sanchez, Candidate for FEA International President – The New Jersey Future Educators Association would like to congratulate David Sanchez of Hamilton High School North, Hamilton, NJ, for his hard-fought campaign for FEA International Student President at the 2012 FEA International Conference held in Baltimore, MD. While David did not win the election, he demonstrated courage and assertiveness and, for that alone, David is a winner! David conducted a dignified and professional campaign based on a platform of diversity and inclusiveness. We are enornously proud of him and all that he represents as a future teacher. We look forward to David’s continued contributions to the New Jersey Future Educators Association.



Sara Kern, Winner of the Onsite Interview Competition – Congratulations to Sarah Kern, NJFEA Northern Region Representative and senior at Mahwah High School, for winning the Job Application Competition at the 2012 FEA International Conference in Baltimore, MD.  Sarah is pictured here with Larry Fieber, Executive Director of the Center for Future Educators and NJFEA State Director.




Jacqueline Carreon, Third Place Winner in the High School Essay Competition –  Congratulations to Jacqueline Carreon, student at East Side High School in Newark  for winning third place in the High School Essay Competition.  Jacqueline is pictured here (center) with her fellow East Side High School NJFEA chapter members and their advisor.
