Virtual Conference (via Zoom)
Thank you for attending this year’s spring conference! We hope you enjoyed it. Students, we’d like to get your feedback, so that we can make the virtual fall conference an even better experience. Please check your inbox for a link to the post-conference survey. In case you missed the conference, or want a chance to review some of the content, click Conference Recordings. Through this year’s conference theme, recreatED: Innovative Classrooms, we’ll explore ways that teaching methods and environments have changed to better fit today’s world. We’ll start off the conference with our keynote speaker Kimberly Dickstein Hughes, 2020 NJ State Teacher of the Year. Our panel of educator majors will follow to share their college and classroom experiences and answer your questions. In the breakout sessions, presenters will dive into topics such as:
- A day in the life of a novice teacher
- Culturally relevant children’s literature
- Global learning
- Multiple intelligences
- Social and emotional learning
- Special education
- Using technology to develop literacy skills
